responsibilities:
- Lead hazard analyses (HAZOP/PHA) to define necessary safeguards and guarantee robust process safety compliance across the plant.
- Apply chemical engineering principles and statistical data analysis to optimize safe process design, scale-up, and continuous manufacturing operations.
- Utilize structured problem-solving in lab, pilot, and manufacturing environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical and operational upsets.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation (including procedures and P&IDs) and clearly communicate project progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
