We are seeking an experienced EPC Cost Estimator III to support utility, energy, and infrastructure projects. This position is 100% remote; however, candidates located in Michigan are strongly preferred. The successful candidate will develop detailed construction cost estimates across multiple disciplines and support project teams throughout the bid and planning process. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex EPC projects while collaborating with engineering, construction, and client stakeholders.

responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for medium-sized EPC projects across various contract types.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing utilizing industry-standard estimating guides and software tools.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope, risks, and estimate requirements.
- Coordinate estimating activities and develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Interface with owners, engineers, and contractors to provide cost analysis, project feasibility evaluations, and estimating support.
- Knowledge of construction estimating principles, cost control practices, and computerized estimating systems.
- Experience estimating one or more of the following disciplines: Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), Pipeline, Storage, or M&R.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of construction cost estimating experience in an EPC, utility, industrial, or construction environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent estimating experience will be considered.
