Remote Position! Join our Supply Management Expense team in Jackson, MI as a Project Scheduler III. In this role, you will organize, implement, and maintain our scheduling management system to support critical utility and gas storage projects. Your overall responsibility will be to ensure project contract requirements are realized on time through meticulous data tracking and stakeholder coordination.
To qualify, candidates must possess a strong working knowledge of the Primavera P6 environment, including activity codes, layouts, and reporting, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Excel. strong communication skills are vital for participating in department meetings and extracting schedule details from project teams. While a high school diploma is required (higher degrees preferred), certifications like PMP, PSP, or experience with Gas Storage projects are highly beneficial.

responsibilities:
- Log project timelines, set up tasks/sub-tasks, and maintain the database to provide accurate status reports.
- Design detailed project schedules and collaborate with superintendents, contractors, and engineers to define the scope of work.
- Evaluate schedule progress, identify variances from the original plan, and pinpoint developing problem areas.
- Conduct critical path analysis to determine the impact of schedule changes and recommend alternative work paths.
- Support the change management process and assist in developing periodic status reports to keep management informed.
