responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive root cause analyses on failed components to identify underlying failure mechanisms like fatigue, creep, or corrosion.
- Develop and execute destructive and non-destructive tests (NDT) to validate material performance and accurately replicate failure conditions.
- Analyze and interpret complex test data and microscopic imagery to deeply understand material behavior and failure modes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present critical findings to engineering, quality, and management teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across design and manufacturing to implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence and enhance overall product reliability.
