Our client, an industry leader in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Product Design Engineer to shape the future of innovative, user focused products. As the go-to expert on a dynamic team, you will bring deep technical expertise and 5+ years of experience in CAD and mechanical component design.

responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to technical expert, independently owning highly complex consumer product designs and delivering reliable, mass-production solutions.
- Drive time-critical solutions and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., RF, Materials Science, Operations) to ensure seamless product integration.
- Guide junior engineers and actively contribute to broader team goals, such as publishing technical documents or improving internal engineering processes.
- Apply deep engineering fundamentals and aesthetic design expertise (Industrial Design, UX, CMF) to validate and optimize hardware systems.
- Anticipate, analyze, and resolve mission-critical design risks, implementing data-driven improvements at the product level.
