In this position, you will collaborate directly with machinery manufacturers (OEMs) on technical upgrades and design clever, low-cost engineering solutions that can be standardized and scaled across factories. responsibilities:
- Lead root-cause analysis to identify and fix planned and unplanned equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with machine manufacturers (OEMs) and write User Requirement Specifications (URS) for equipment upgrades.
- Design and implement low-cost, localized engineering solutions to improve line reliability.
- Build data models and interactive dashboards (Excel/Power BI) to track factory KPIs and performance.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses (CBAs) to justify process improvements and track financial impacts.
- Create Knowledge Transfer Packages (KTPs) to help other factories replicate your technical solutions.
- Maintain manufacturing process standards and train site teams on digital and information management (IM) tools
- 3-5+ years in high-volume manufacturing
- bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying process issues and developing effective solutions. Excel required, Power BI a strong plus
- ability to travel frequently and move throughout the manufacturing plant.
