A nationally recognized electrical contractor is seeking an Engineering Team Lead to support complex design-build projects across its growing Central Region. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced electrical engineer who enjoys leading teams, managing project performance, and serving as the primary technical lead on large-scale projects.
The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of engineering experience, a PE license, project leadership skills, and experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and engineering teams. Data center or large-scale electrical infrastructure experience is highly preferred.

responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering design projects from planning through execution.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary technical and client-facing lead on assigned projects.
- Delegate work, mentor engineers, and provide design oversight to project teams.
- Ensure quality, code compliance, scope management, and successful project delivery.
- PE License required and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of hands-on electrical design experience, with a proven track record of directly executing complex engineering projects under minimal supervision.
- Experience leading day-to-day execution of engineering designs through direct, hands-on involvement in the technical process rather than high-level management.
- Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams, with a high preference for data center or large-scale power infrastructure experience.
- Experience with ETAP or SKM Power Tools
