Permitting Project Manager needed in Lexington KY to support a leading engineering and construction firm. In this role you will use your knowledge of federal, state and local permitting requirements throughout the midwest to ensure utility construction projects including electric and water. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of relevant experience.

responsibilities:
- Execute permitting submittals and some civil design/detailing for projects, taking direction from senior engineers/project managers.
- Lead code interpretation and communicate critical permitting triggers, processes, timelines, and strategies influencing design, schedule, reporting, or staffing.
- Maintain awareness and communicate changes in regulatory requirements and permitting.
- Build agency relationships with regulators and maintain awareness of changes in regulations.
- Coordinate development of engineering, construction, and environmental permits.
