A Quality Supervisor is needed for a leading industrial manufacturer outside of Greenville, SC. The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing quality activities and support the assembly and testing. In this role, you will supervise quality inspectors to ensure all products meet customer, regulatory, and company standards. Maintaining a floor presence, you will collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive operational excellence.
Candidates must possess an associate degree or higher in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing quality experience. At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing inspectors or technicians is highly preferred, as well as a knowledge of inspection methods, GD&T, and control plans. Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills are required, with preference given to those industrial equipment backgrounds.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily workloads, assign priorities, and monitor the performance of the quality inspection team
- Manage incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections, alongside end-of-line testing
- Verify that all inspection records are complete and ensure equipment and gauges are properly calibrated
- Lead containment activities, coordinate material segregation, and guide MRB disposition decisions
- Monitor quality KPIs, participate in problem-solving, and support the implementation of corrective actions
- Maintain a manufacturing floor presence to coach the team and foster accountability
