A Construction Field Coordinator is needed for a leading GC in the Columbus, Ohio area. The Construction Field Coordinator will play a vital part in driving project success by managing daily on-site activities and supporting the broader management team. Your focus will be overseeing trade workflows to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Candidates should hold 2+ years of equivalent construction experience. Effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Ideal candidates will also bring prior experience in commercial construction field supervision and familiarity with scheduling and QA/QC processes. Candidates with background with MEP systems are desired. This is a long-term contract role slated to last 12+ months. Our client is only seeking local talent currently.

- Oversee daily trade work with a strict focus on safety, quality control, and schedule adherence
- Coordinate material deliveries and installation activities to eliminate downtime
- Facilitate clear communication between different trades to resolve conflicts and keep progress on track
- Track workforce productivity and offer guidance to maintain high company standards
- Work closely with project management to resolve field issues and support overall project goals
- Promote a zero-accident culture and strictly enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
