responsibilities:
- Act as Our Client's independent representative to oversee, govern, and ensure compliance of the Energy Isolation (LOTO) program across all project phases.
- Align and coordinate high-risk energy isolation activities among General Contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to protect personnel and minimize risk to live data center operations.
- Review and validate contractor MOPs, SOPs, and energy isolation procedures to guarantee all hazardous energy sources are properly identified and controlled prior to execution.
- Conduct regular field audits of mechanical and LV/MV/HV electrical isolations to verify strict adherence to LOTO standards, permitting processes, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
- Serve as the primary electrical safety SME, providing technical guidance on arc flash mitigation, proper PPE selection, and informed decision-making around energized work.
