Our client, a leader in the interconnect solutions is looking for a process engineering tech in their Buffalo Grove, IL location. Key qualifications include, Minimum 2-3 years of experience in injection molding or mold setup and experience with hydraulic and electric injection molding machines. A high school diploma is required for this position.

responsibilities:
- Machine Setup & Operation: Manage the complete lifecycle of production runs, including setting up, adjusting parameters, starting up, and shutting down molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve common molding defects (e.g., flash, warping) and perform routine maintenance, collaborating with engineering for complex repairs.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect parts for defects, maintain meticulous documentation for compliance and traceability, and support root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Process Optimization: Monitor machine performance to identify opportunities to reduce cycle times, minimize scrap, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all workplace safety protocols and ensure operations fully comply with regulatory standards like ISO-13485 and FDA CFR/GMP.
