responsibilities:
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot critical equipment including boilers, turbines, and auxiliary systems performing routine start-ups, shutdowns, and operational tests.
- Execute routine maintenance, minor repairs, and calibration on mechanical, electrical, and control systems (including PLC and DCS) to maximize overall plant reliability.
- Ensure strict safety and environmental compliance by performing chemical testing, safely handling hazardous materials, executing lockout/tagout procedures, and monitoring emissions.
- Maintain highly accurate CMMS work orders, operating logs, and equipment records to document daily activities, inventory transactions, and abnormal operating conditions.
- Collaborate with the Control Room Operator to coordinate onsite vendor activities, respond to equipment anomalies, and actively support planned and unplanned facility outages.
