An Assistant Construction Project Manager is needed for a leading general contractor. The APM will a pivotal role in driving project execution by leading onsite trade management and overseeing material logistics from design through final installation. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role is responsible for controlling project costs, resolving field issues like RFIs and change orders, and validating contractor payment applications. Additionally, the APM provides vital project leadership by mentoring junior associates and upholding a company culture of organizational integrity.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related engineering field, alongside up to three years of commercial construction experience. Effective communication, time management, and computer proficiency are essential to thrive in this collaborative management environment. Candidates must also be willing to relocate, with prior exposure to BIM workflows highly preferred. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.

- Lead the processing and resolution of critical project documentation, including change orders, submittals, and RFIs
- Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of project materials from initial design approval to final onsite installation
- Track, manage, and validate monthly payment applications submitted by trade contractors to ensure accurate project cost control
- Thoroughly review, analyze, and interpret complex Construction Design Documents, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Provide proactive guidance, task delegation, and professional mentorship to younger project associates and coordinators on the job site
- Coordinate daily with onsite subcontractors and trades to ensure project schedules and quality standards are maintained
