Seeking an NDT Technician II for a high growth aerospace components manufacturing client in the Whitehall, MI area.
The Xray Tech would be responsible for set up of equipment, calibration, performing the tests, interpreting the results under UV light or X-ray, and officially accept/reject the part. TC1A or NAS410 certifications are required!

responsibilities:
- Certifications: Maintain RT Level I status and pass RT Level II exams (practical, general, specific) with a > 80% composite score.
- Inspection & Analysis: Interpret sensitive (1% and 2%) X-ray, N-ray, and digital images to detect and locate internal casting defects per customer specs.
- Disposition & Repair: Pinpoint and mark defect locations on actual castings for weld/mechanical repair (e.g., core breaks, fins); determine required rework.
- Compliance & Audits: Maintain a 98% surveillance audit reliability rating and complete all documentation in accordance with process and NADCAP requirements.
- EHS & Support: Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform other supervisor-assigned duties.
