Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Manufacturing Technician. This position is located near Sparks, Maryland. This position is on 1st shift and will perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including sub-assembly and product final assembly, calibration, and testing.
The hourly rate for this position is dependent on experience ranging from $27 to $32 an hour, plus other benefits! All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:
- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including sub-assembly and product final assembly, calibration and test.
- Works with engineers to provide definition of test set-up and calibration tasks.
- Performs rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Utilizes automated test programs to evaluate product performance against specifications and to collect data demonstrating product performance.
- Reviews data and adjusts the product 'select at test' components to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Utilizes a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, drawings, schematics and operating or repair manuals.
- 100% 401K match on the first 3% of employee contribution, plus a 50% match on the next 2%
