responsibilities:
- Lead first-article inspections and AQL sampling
- Develop and maintain inspection schedules
- Manage daily laboratory operations, testing priorities, workflow, and equipment availability
- Maintain accurate inspection records, measurements, photographs, and test results
- Investigate customer complaints, warranty claims, installation concerns, and returned products to determine root causes
- Coordinate Corrective Action Reports (CARs), including containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification
- Review and determine disposition of nonconforming inventory, including repair, rework, quarantine, return-to-vendor, or acceptance
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Quality, Automotive Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, dimensional inspection, laboratory testing, warranty analysis, automotive manufacturing, automotive aftermarket, industrial products, or a related technical environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements
- Experience using precision measuring tools, hand tools, and laboratory equipment
