responsibilities:
- Ensure plant adherence to corporate, local, state, and federal OSHA regulations through routine inspections, policy enforcement, and hazard evaluations.
- Develop and conduct comprehensive H&S training programs (including Forklift Safety), facilitate EH&S meetings, and lead orientations for contractors and visitors.
- Identify occupational hazards, lead root-cause investigations for incidents and near misses, and execute corrective action plans to prevent future risks.
- Serve as document controller for OHSAS records, manage internal audit schedules, maintain performance logs, and track site-wide Near Miss/SMAT safety cards for Our Client.
