responsibilities:
- Lead & Mentor CNC Engineers: Direct, coach, and develop a specialized team of CNC Field Service Engineers, Technical Support Specialists, and Administrators.
- Optimize CNC Machine Uptime: Drive key performance metrics-including first-time fix rate, response time, and CNC machine availability-to maximize productivity for clients.
- Oversee Daily CNC Field Operations: Manage high-efficiency scheduling, dispatching, and resource deployment for CNC installations, calibration, maintenance, and emergency service calls.
- Troubleshoot Complex CNC Systems: Provide expert technical guidance on advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and multi-axis CNC control platforms.
- Drive Financial & Budgetary Performance: Maintain department financial health by effectively managing CNC service labor, travel, and warranty budgets.
