An Industrial Engineer is needed for a leading cooling technology OEM near Greenville, SC. The Industrial Engineer will drive operational excellence, optimize labor utilization, and eliminate shop-floor waste. In this role, you will analyze end-to-end workflows, develop labor standards, and manage Manufacturing BOMs to maximize plant efficiency. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Lean initiatives, streamline material flow, and balance production lines.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field, along with 2+ years of manufacturing experience. Proficiency in work measurement, line balancing, AutoCAD, simulation software, Minitab, and Power BI is required. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and hands-on experience with ERP systems or MES are highly preferred. This is a direct hire role, and our client is seeking local talent currently.

- Conduct work measurement studies to establish precise labor standards, staffing models, and ergonomic improvements
- Develop standard work, optimize production line balancing, and evaluate cycle/takt times to boost OEE and minimize downtime
- Design efficient plant cell layouts, point-of-use inventory, Kanban systems, and material routings from receiving to shipping
- Maintain Manufacturing BOMs and routing configurations to ensure seamless ERP data accuracy and NPI support
- Lead structured Kaizen events and root cause analysis using Lean, PDCA, and DMAIC frameworks to drive continuous waste elimination
- Analyze manufacturing metrics and generate executive dashboards using advanced Excel, macros, and Power BI
