responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe, timely, and efficient movement of materials, managing key processes including inventory control, receiving, storage, shipping, and production support.
- Supervise and mentor a team of material handling employees, establishing clear priorities, monitoring performance, and actively supporting their professional development.
- Leverage operational metrics and data to make informed decisions and implement lean process improvements that optimize safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Anticipate potential disruptions to maintain seamless production, standardize workflows, and foster clear communication with team members and leadership across all shifts.
