responsibilities:
- Lead metrology projects from concept to implementation, ensuring seamless technology transfer from R&D to production-ready manufacturing lines.
- Survey, develop, deploy, and qualify advanced gauges and measurement systems to evaluate critical glass and optical product characteristics.
- Partner with software and controls teams to design robust measurement data reporting, databases, and intuitive operator interfaces.
- Provide second-level technical leadership to troubleshoot complex metrology issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Drive metrology governance and standardization (including MSA alignment) across internal plants, contract manufacturers, and customer sites.
