responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, build, and support electronic products and test fixtures.
- Conduct comprehensive testing on products and software to validate functions, characterize performance, and identify potential failure modes.
- Perform detailed troubleshooting of complex electronic circuits, systems, and hardware.
- Manage and lead specific projects independently within the electronics lab.
- Document technical data including material lists, part drawings, and project-specific information.
- Maintain the day-to-day operations of the electronics lab and serve as a technical mentor to junior staff.
- Utilize specialized tools for soldering, de-soldering, and operating standard electronic test equipment.
- Follow established test procedures while multitasking across various technical and administrative responsibilities.
- 2-year Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or Avionics or equivalent military training
- Must have 5+ years experience performing automated testing of electronic products
- Advanced soldering/de-soldering at the component level
- Must be able to read and understand Electronic Schematics
- RF background
