responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspections and testing on electrical and mechanical parts using tools like CMMs, multimeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure they meet exact specifications.
- Create detailed dimensional, test, and inspection reports to track component variation and support statistical process control.
- Investigate and troubleshoot product defects or failures in-house and in the field to determine root cause and suggest corrective actions using 8D or DMAIC methodologies.
- Process nonconforming materials and collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure suppliers correct their processes or to adjust part specifications.
- Assist staff in developing test protocols, work instructions, and checklists to investigate and verify the integrity of new and existing products for Our Client.
