responsibilities:
- Direct the end-to-end procurement of bulk raw materials, packaging, operational supplies, and site services, ensuring alignment with organizational quality, cost, and compliance benchmarks.
- Analyze stock levels, consumption trends, weeks on hand (WOH), and lead times to mitigate stockout risks, optimize working capital, and eliminate production downtime.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and third-party vendors to resolve delivery bottlenecks, inventory variances, documentation discrepancies, and product non-conformances.
- Synthesize raw procurement data into actionable operational reports, tracking purchase order lifecycles, receipt logs, inventory audits, and master production schedules.
- Oversee receiving processes for raw materials and substrates while managing shipping documentation, customer fulfillments, delivery tickets, and intercompany inventory transfers.
- Maintain centralized product tracking databases (product codes, lot numbers, authorization protocols) and enforce strict verification standards for finished product lot and date code accuracy.
- Coordinate regulatory and customer sample distribution and support end-to-end invoicing workflows to ensure seamless financial reconciliation.
- Enforce strict adherence to site safety protocols, HACCP, GMP, ISO guidelines, and internal raw material control procedures.
- Monitor supplier KPIs regarding delivery timelines, product specifications, and service levels; escalate systemic failures and oversee Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) tracking.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready vendor records, active contracts, price support files, and procurement histories within enterprise software platforms.
- Oversee facility supply chains and manage daily administrative functions to ensure efficient, compliant, and organized site operations.
