Our Client, an industry leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking an Automation Technician in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment. Candidates need 2+ years of experience with robotics, PLCs, and electrical diagrams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated equipment, including robotics, conveyors, vision systems, and assembly stations to ensure high reliability.
- Respond promptly to equipment downtime to perform root-cause analysis and execute corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Verify the proper functionality of all machine safety interlocks, light curtains, and emergency stops during regular operations.
- Document repair logs, system modifications, and maintenance activities while assisting with training team members on automated systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify recurring technical issues and implement continuous improvement solutions.

Production & Support
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment, including robots, conveyors, vision systems, and automated assembly/test stations.
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime to diagnose root cause and restore production.
- Support daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Verify proper operation of safety interlocks, light curtains, E?Stops, and guarding.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.
- Retrieve spare parts and assist with equipment documentation.
- Participate in root?cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.
- Document repairs, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Support training of operators and maintenance personnel on automated systems.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently under production pressure
- Good communication and documentation skills
