We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Contract HR Generalist with a specialization in Employee Relations for a 6-month project. In this role, you won't just be checking boxes; you’ll be the primary point of contact for resolving complex workplace issues, guiding managers through performance hurdles, and ensuring the company culture remains balanced and compliant.

salary: $30 - $32 per hour

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead investigator for internal complaints and grievances. Conduct thorough interviews, document findings, and recommend objective resolutions.
  
  
• Partner with department leads to manage performance improvement plans (PIPs) and provide coaching on how to deliver difficult feedback effectively.
  
  
• Interpret and apply company policies and employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.) to ensure consistent treatment of all team members.
  
  
• Mediate interpersonal conflicts between employees or between staff and management to maintain a productive work environment.
  
  
• Conduct exit interviews, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for organizational improvement.
  
  
• Maintain meticulous records of all ER cases and ensure all HR actions align with state and federal labor regulations.
