Mid-size commercial & residential construction company is growing and we're looking to add another dynamic Accounts Payable Specialist to the team.  The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of full-cycle AP experience in a job cost, construction accounting environment with the ability to handle a high-volume of invoices for multiple projects.  This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team at the corporate office near The Town Center and is a 100% in office role offering top notch benefits which go live the 1st of the month after start date.  

salary: $52,000 - $56,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Match 200-300 invoices daily to purchase orders; ensure accuracy with pricing and quantity
• Monitor and manage AP inbox daily; attach purchase order & AIA documents and SOV to export to ERP
• Prepare daily and weekly payment runs
• Respond to vendor inquiries from the AP inbox; provide timely and accurate assistance while escalating complex issues
• Research & resolve job cost inquiries from Project Managers to ensure proper allocation and tracking of project expenses
• Verify subcontractor compliance with COI and follow up on missing or non-compliant documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
• Perform other duties as assigned and support the AP team with various tasks and projects as needed
