We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Estimating team in Fort Lauderdale. In this role, you will act as the "backbone" of our bidding process. You will be responsible for the digital organization of project files, extracting necessary data from blueprints, and maintaining the accuracy of our estimating spreadsheets. The ideal candidate is a PDF power-user who enjoys turning complex documents into organized data.  

salary: $23 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Set up project folders for new bid invitations and ensure all drawings are labeled and categorized correctly.
  
  
• Use PDF software to pull specific drawing sets (e.g., just the floor plans or just the schedules) for subcontractors and the internal Estimator.
  
  
• Transfer quantities and measurements from PDF markups into Excel bid templates; maintain and update vendor contact lists.
  
  
• Monitor the estimating email inbox, download new "Addenda" (updates), and ensure the Estimator is working off the most current version of a drawing.
  
  
• Compile final bid packages into a clean, professional PDF format for submission to clients.
