The US Operations Controller position is a high impact role that partners closely with the CFO and plays a key part in driving accounting & financial accuracy and compliance in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.  This is great for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, improving processes, and owning the financial backbone of a business.



salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting operational functions

• Own and lead any financial systems transformation activities

• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems and ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements as well as internal financial policies

• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated financial statements

• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements

• Responsible for sales, franchise, and income tax and regulatory compliance in the US and

provincial sales tax compliance in Canada

• Manage inventory accounts including raw material, wip, and finished good inventory

• Calculate, manage, and reconcile the monthly CoGS on manufactured goods

• Develop a strong controls framework around the flow of precious metals from purchase to shipping

• Provide insights to the cashflow forecast with details of expected inventory purchases in future periods
