Our client is looking for a strategic and collaborative Associate Director, Global Payer Value & Access (PVA) to lead global pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies for a breakthrough vaccine with global public health impact. Responsibilities
As an Associate Director Global Payer Value and Access, Job Duties Include:
- Develop and refine global pricing and access strategies that balance value, affordability, and market sustainability.
- Segment payers and tailor engagement approaches for multilateral agencies (e.g., PAHO, GAVI, UNICEF), national procurement bodies, and private markets.
- Conduct global pricing scenario analysis, considering market dynamics such as competitor entry, volume-based contracts, and tendering strategies.
- Guide execution of local access and pricing strategies while ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
- Partner with HEOR to co-develop cost-effectiveness models, budget impact analyses, and post-launch RWE to support sustained access.
- 5 + years of experience in Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, or Public Affairs, with a robust focus on vaccines.
- Deep understanding of global vaccine reimbursement and procurement frameworks (e.g., GAVI, PAHO, UNICEF, NIPs).
- Demonstrated success influencing payer and policymaker decisions across diverse healthcare systems.
- Experience with product development partnerships (PDPs), tech transfer pricing, and innovative access models.
- Understanding of alternative vaccine financing mechanisms and public health infrastructure.
