Are you an experienced AP Specialist looking for a short-term opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to support a project and ensure seamless accounts payable operations. In this role, you’ll review, code, and process invoices, manage payments (checks, ACH, wires), and respond to vendor inquiries. You'll maintain organized records in their ERP system, support month-end close, assist with audits, and help with 1099 and compliance tasks. The role also involves reconciling statements, managing the AP inbox, updating vendor profiles, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices in compliance with internal approval workflows
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies by reconciling account statements
• Maintain accurate and organized AP records, including uploading and attaching all supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Prepare and compile documentation to support internal and external audits
• Monitor the AP inbox and route incoming invoices or inquiries to the appropriate contacts
• Set up and maintain vendor profiles, ensuring W-9s and banking details are current and compliant
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve purchase order or invoice matching issues
• Generate AP aging reports and assist with cash flow planning
• Support 1099 reporting and year-end tax compliance processes
