Position Expectations: This is an on-site position based in Daytona Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medical coding, specifically related to orthopedic services, and will work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to support coding functions across multiple locations.
Requirements:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A)
- Minimum 2 years of coding experience in orthopedics and E&M services
- Familiarity with EHR/EPM systems, preferably Athena
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Clean driving record and valid auto insurance
salary: $19 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities
- Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10, CPT codes, and modifiers
- Code physician office visits and surgeries
- Ensure documentation accuracy and query providers for clarification
- Handle claims submission, resolve rejections, and research denials
- Stay current with coding standards, LCD/NCD policies
- Provide training on documentation and coding best practices
