Our respected manufacturing client in Louisville, Kentucky, is looking for a dedicated Fabrication Account Specialist to become an integral part of their team. This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity where you will play a crucial role in managing custom fabricated product orders from the initial customer contact through to successful delivery.
As a Fabrication Account Specialist, you will be the central point of contact, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding communication every step of the way. Your technical aptitude and commitment to providing a seamless customer experience will be key to your success. What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and manage fabricated product orders.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- A proactive and collaborative team player.
salary: $25 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:45 PM

Responsibilities
- Efficiently enter fabricated sales orders from various customer communication channels (telephone, fax, email)
- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assign new part numbers for custom fabricated orders
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate quotations for all fabricated parts, demonstrating an understanding of material and production costs
- Liaise with the Engineering department for technical guidance on complex quotations and fabrication projects
- Actively monitor the progress of fabricated orders through the production process, collaborating closely with the Production department to review job details and ensure specifications are met
- Work collaboratively with outside sales representatives to provide necessary support and timely quotations
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers regarding any order delays or modifications
