We are currently hiring five (5) Contact Center Specialists to support patient services in our on-site healthcare contact center. In this critical frontline role, you’ll handle inbound calls from patients, family members, and external partners to provide outstanding service, schedule appointments, and ensure the accuracy of patient information.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for growth and long-term career development in the healthcare field.



salary: $17.49 - $17.5 per hour

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally and empathetically to high-volume inbound calls and electronic requests
  
  
• Accurately collect and input patient registration data, including demographic and insurance information
  
  
• Verify insurance coverage and communicate self-pay or co-pay expectations
  
  
• Schedule medical appointments and diagnostic tests in accordance with clinic protocols
  
  
• Provide appointment details, preparation instructions, and necessary documentation
  
  
• Relay messages to providers and administrative teams accurately and promptly
  
  
• Identify urgent situations and ensure appropriate triage or escalation
  
  
• Maintain a composed and supportive demeanor when assisting distressed or upset callers
  
  
• Assist with clerical support and contribute to an efficient, patient-focused workflow
  
  
• Participate in training and complete required certification/competency assessments
