Responsibilities
- Managing supplier quality issues from complaint registration and tracking to ensuring timely corrective actions and updating documentation.
- Overseeing material containment procedures, including defining methods for 100% certified materials and negotiating material sorting/returns with suppliers.
- Conducting supplier audits (onsite and remote) and managing supplier scorecards.
- Supervising incoming inspection auditors to ensure procedural compliance.
- Monitoring and enhancing quality control for purchased products using SPC, and managing inspection controls for all incoming goods.
- Approving Supplier PPAP and 4M Changes.
- Supporting product and release runs with suppliers, and managing supplier certification plans and certificates.
- Maintaining the purchased materials/products hold area.
- Ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and all corporate/customer requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement through 5S implementation, risk matrix follow-up, and process KPI tracking.
- Training and developing incoming inspection inspectors.
