- 2-3 solid years of direct experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
- An Associate's Degree (AS) in Accounting is strongly preferred.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to complete tasks.
- Bonus: Experience working with Great Plains software is a plus

Responsibilities
- Process and apply daily cash receipts (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit card payments) accurately and efficiently to customer accounts
- Pull EDI files from lockbox details, accurately format them, and efficiently extract relevant payment information
- Identify and input invoice numbers from various payment remittances into the accounting system to ensure proper payment application
- Reconcile daily cash reports with bank statements and payment application batches
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and over/under payments in a timely manner
- Process customer refunds, chargebacks, and adjustments as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer master data related to payments
