We are seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Shared Services Manager for a 6–12 month assignment based in Hanover, MA (hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote). Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will lead efforts to standardize and streamline accounts payable processes across all business units. The focus will be on improving efficiency, documenting procedures, and preparing for an upcoming ERP implementation.

The ideal candidate will have ADP experience, with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) considered a plus. This is a hands-on role that requires process improvement expertise and a collaborative approach to working with shared services and branch-level teams. **CPA Preferred**

Responsibilities

·Drive process efficiency across business, by standardization and improved ways of working for the entire P2P process and ensure the business is adequately prepared for upcoming ERP implementation

·Manage the central accounts payable team

• Ensure AP invoices are processed in an accurate and timely fashion
• Liaise with local branch accounting regarding exceptional items
• Implement industry best practices
• Maintain and establish AP policies and procedures and ongoing monitoring of compliance
• Manage and develop a team of accounts payable professionals 

·Manage the central vendor management team

• Manage the onboarding process for vendors into the ERP
• Liaise with vendors regarding exceptional items
• Manage and develop a team of vendor management professionals

·Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting

• Monthly reconciliation of AP-associated balance sheet accounts
• Monthly key metrics reporting
• Weekly exceptions reporting

·Oversite and management of system adjustments and go-to individual for system related inquires

·Advises and actively participates as a key member and trusted advisor of the central management team with the goal of adding value that will assist in decision-making

·Assisting with annual audit and providing documentation as requested

·Assisting CFO with ad-hoc reconciliations, analysis, and entries

·Leading the AP team in the transition to Microsoft D365 ERP

·Other financial items as required
