salary: $100,000 - $104,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Work with the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to determine staffing levels per shift on each unit (floor).
• Confirm staffing is in place, assign, and direct staff as needed, and work closely with the Scheduler to address absences and vacancies, minimizing overtime.
• Review and approve timecards for direct reports, confirming accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee files, providing timely updates and compliance with HR policies. This
  includes documentation of disciplinary actions and safeguarding sensitive information.
• Review and update physician orders, nurses notes, and resident assessments as conditions change. Assist with
  writing and updating care plans.
• The position also includes administrative duties such as maintaining patient records, managing staffing schedules, and contributing to care plan meetings.
• Serve as the administrative authority during assigned shifts, communicating any urgent concerns to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Director of Nursing (DON), or Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).
• Conduct audits of resident documentation, including new admissions, re-admissions, and skin assessments,
  ensuring accuracy and completion.
