Our Client, a stable, growing company in West Palm is seeking an experienced Senior/Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our company's financial records. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling all day-to-day financial operations including inventory, depreciation, payroll and the preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities

• Full Life Cycle Accounting:
  • Perform general ledger entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications.
• Payroll:
  • Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and withholdings.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations:
  • Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of all bank accounts and credit card statements and resolve discrepencies. 
• Inventory Management :
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including purchases, sales, and adjustments.
  • Track cost of goods sold and related inventory valuations.
• Fixed Assets & Depreciation:
  • Maintain fixed asset register, tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Calculate and record monthly/annual depreciation expenses.
• Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:
    • Balance Sheet
    • Income Statement (Profit & Loss)
  • Assist with year-end close procedures and prepare for audits/reviews.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, preferred.
• Experience:
  •  4-5 yrs of experience as an Accountant or Full-Charge Bookkeeper.
  • Payroll processing, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience with inventory management and depreciation.
