Responsibilities
- Process customer payments in SAP using various payment methods including checks, cash, EFT, online bill pay, and payments from drivers
- Research and reconcile discrepancies, credits, and account issues
- Maintain accurate customer account records, including contact info, account notes, payment status, and delivery information
- Perform collection activities per standard operating procedures (SOPs), escalating to supervisor when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Nevada credit law and internal SOPs, including documentation and courtesy calls
- Coordinate with sales and internal departments to resolve account disputes and update account status
- Distribute monthly customer statements
- Manage an account portfolio of approximately 1,000 customer accounts
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests
- Maintain a high level of customer service and foster relationships internally and externally
- Accurately handle high volumes of orders, calls, and data entry under time constraints
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of customer interactions and payment status
