We're looking for a Logistics Specialist to optimize our inbound material flow and manage urgent outbound shipments. You'll track deliveries, coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve issues, and ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery of materials and products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field, along with 2+ years of relevant experience and proficiency in logistics software. Responsibilities

 Monitor Shipments: Track inbound to ensure on-time delivery of materials and products.
 Coordinate with Suppliers and Carriers: Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and
transportation providers to expedite deliveries and resolve delays.
 Resolve Issues: Address logistics bottlenecks, such as delayed shipments, damaged goods, or
documentation errors, to maintain workflow.
 Prioritize Orders: Work with production and procurement teams to prioritize urgent material
needs based on schedules and demand.
 Maintain Records: Update and maintain accurate logistics data using software (e.g., ERP, TMS)
to track progress and report issues.
 Ensure Compliance: Verify that shipments comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental
standards.
 Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to align
logistics with operational goals.
 Analyze Delays: Investigate causes of delays and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and
prevent future issues.
 Negotiate Timelines: Work with carriers and suppliers to expedite urgent shipments while
managing costs.
 Report Progress: Provide updates and reports on expedited shipments and logistics performance
to management.
 Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials and components to meet production schedules
 Analyze inbound logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
 Negotiate with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions
