Responsibilities
- Manage fixed asset transactions including additions, adjustments, transfers, and retirements.
- Conduct system audits and ensure accounting records are compliant and up to date.
- Support onboarding of newly acquired businesses through timely asset integration.
- Maintain and update asset records within the SAGE platform.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines and deliver accurate reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3 – 5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Hands-on fixed asset accounting experience.
- Proficiency with the SAGE platform.
- An understanding of general ledger accounting principles, concepts, and procedures.
- Experience with PeopleSoft GL preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and overall computer proficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
