We are seeking a detailed oriented individual for our Estimating Specialist position based in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in estimating/price quoting, familiar with Microsoft Office/Excel programs,and build/maintain customer relationships. work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs to provide profitable solutions, and negotiate prices with both customers and manufacturers.
• Use software to create accurate price quotes and proposals from customer plans and drawings.
• Follow up on quotes to win the sale and help improve the quoting process.
• Check with customers to make sure their orders are filled on time and help coordinate project deliveries.
• Act as the team expert, helping the sales staff with quotes, bid strategies, and product knowledge.
• Solve customer problems, and handle price adjustments and material returns.
• Inform managers about any customer changes that could create a credit risk.
