We're seeking a Billing Specialist II to support a high-volume state government contract. This role is responsible for processing complex billing transactions with precision and ensuring all invoice activity aligns with contract requirements, internal controls, and government regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, experience in contract-based billing, and the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and support compliance efforts.

salary: $34.99 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, process, and submit invoices per government contract terms and timelines.
• Validate fixed and variable billing components and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and respond to service-related inquiries via ServiceNow.
• Maintain thorough billing documentation to support audits and compliance requirements.
• Uphold internal billing controls and ensure adherence to government and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Prior billing/invoicing experience, preferably supporting government contracts.
• Familiarity with government procurement processes and contract compliance.
• Excel skills and experience with billing or ERP systems.
