Responsibilities

• Accurate Charge Capture: Review medical records and documentation to identify all services, procedures, and supplies provided to patients.
• Medical Coding: Assign the correct CPT and ICD-10 codes to all services, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.
• Data Entry: Precisely enter all charges, codes, and patient information into the billing system.
• Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of entered data and codes to prevent errors and reduce claim denials.
• Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and healthcare billing guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work with providers and other billing team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
