Responsibilities
Benefits Administration (Approx. 70-80%):
- Administer all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA, HSA, and other voluntary benefits.
- Manage new hire benefit enrollment, qualifying life event changes, and annual open enrollment processes, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into HRIS and vendor systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries.
- Coordinate with benefit brokers and vendors to resolve complex issues, ensure accurate billing, and facilitate smooth plan administration.
- Process benefit deductions and contributions, ensuring proper payroll integration.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and other federal and state benefit regulations.
- Prepare and distribute required benefit communications, notices, and reports.
- Assist with benefits-related audits and compliance filings.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP. This includes data entry, review of timesheets, calculation of wages, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, status changes, and pay rate adjustments within ADP.
- Handle garnishments, tax levies, and other involuntary deductions in compliance with legal requirements.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Prepare and submit all required payroll-related reports, including tax filings.
