We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support a busy millwork and cabinetry operation in Fairfield, NJ. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to quality projects by ensuring materials are sourced, tracked, and delivered on time.
This is a full-time, on-site position with a team environment that values clear communication and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase and track material orders
- Review blueprints and shop drawings for take-offs
- Coordinate production schedules with plant and project teams
- Manage receiving and material deliveries
- Maintain inventory and material records
- Create and organize job folders
- Communicate with vendors for pricing and orders
- Ensure materials meet project requirements
- Update purchase orders in ERP and Excel
- 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience (millwork or cabinetry preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Organized and dependable
- Able to complete tasks independently
