Responsibilities
- Ensure invoices are properly coded and accounted for each period to support management's financial decision-making process.
- Work with vendors, personnel, and leaders throughout the organization to ensure invoices and billing are processed timely and accurately.
- Supervise and manage a team of Account Payable and Billing team members and help them develop processes and procedures that grow with the organization.
- Identify and proactively provide solutions to new challenges and continuously look for process improvements.
- Associate's degree with a major in accounting and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in accounts payable.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a supervisory role or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Certification in Accounts Payable inclusive of 1099 reporting or the ability to attain within 12 months of hire.
- Leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and coach team members, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts.
