Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Collects, processes, and interprets data to help the team make informed business decisions
• Support investigation and resolution of data discrepancies by collaborating with technology, operations, and surveillance analyst teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis of data issues and contribute to long-term remediation strategies – requirements, etc.
• Author and maintain control documentation, including data flow diagrams, reconciliation procedures, exception handling protocols, filter and rule inventory used in surveillance systems
• Support internal audits and reviews by independent testing teams, providing accurate documentation, artifacts, and data.

Qualifications:

• Not too junior: Need someone with 7-10 years & can work independently
• Data / Business analysis, data governance, data elements, data lineage and data flows
• Investment Banking / capital markets / trading lifecycle                  
• MS Office tool set, Power BI, Tableau helpful tools
• Use of authoritative sources
• Excellent reporting skills
